Prenatal Yoga

Pregnancy during a pandemic is unlike anything else. Linking up with a tribe of women who are going through similarities can be a reminder that you are not alone.

Reducing stress, increasing flexibility/strength and boosting immunity are just a few of the perks to the practice. Your growing baby will reap the benefits too.

In this prenatal yoga class, you will link yoga postures with breath and bring awareness to the body, mind, and spirit of both you and your baby.  This class will help strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid in digestion, exercise the spine, and increase overall comfort.

Yoga is an excellent way to prepare for the many transitions of pregnancy, childbirth and parenthood.

The first 10 minutes are held as space to create a safe, open community that will allow you to connect with other expecting mothers and freely discuss any questions, issues or thoughts about pregnancy and birth.

The support and connection to community is the sweet cherry on top.

Prenatal Partner Workshop

This is a monthly, 90 minute virtual workshop held on the last Sunday of every month.

You and your partner will learn techniques for breath awareness, partner poses and massage. These tools can help strengthen and relax your body as well as soothe your mind during the birth process.

These approaches will give you the opportunity to connect more deeply to yourself, your partner and your baby. We will explore visualization and relaxation techniques that can further assist you during childbirth.

This workshop is most ideal for women in their 3rd trimester but available to any expecting mother.

Mamas, this is great tool to motivate your partner to give you lots of massages at home :)

All registrants will have access to the livestream recording & high quality video, refer back to this workshop whenever you want!

mother blessing circles

A Mother’s blessing circle is a gathering of special women who create a loving circle of positive energy around the mother-to-be.

It's adapted from a beautiful pre birth ceremony inspired by an old Native American tradition (Blessingway) celebrating a woman's rite of passage into motherhood and the life being brought into the world.

The purpose is to nurture and nourish the mother-to-be, empowering her with support and encouragement as she transitions from pregnancy into childbirth and onto motherhood.

This event is completely customizable and curated for the expecting mother. Typically, it involves sharing words of love and encouragement in the form of a thoughtful letter and other rituals to honor the transition from Maiden to Mother.

WHAT CLIENTS ARE SAYING…

“My first time being pregnant was at the start of the COVID pandemic, and I was also an essential worker being in the mental health field. Needless to say, I was having a lot of anxiety about being exposed and not having information on how the virus could impact my growing baby. Prenatal yoga with Megan was life giving to me. She always seemed to give me EXACTLY what I needed--mind, body, and spirit with each session. I would feel centered, grounded, clear-minded, and nurtured all at once following each session. Her guided visualizations are beautiful and heart expanding, while helping you deepen your connection with your little love while in the womb. I'm so very grateful to have benefited from her virtual pre natal yoga and some private sessions throughout my pregnancy. She was also my doula postpartum and was essential to me building confidence as a new first time mama. Due to the pandemic and wanting to stay safe, none of our family was able to travel to help support us during those first few weeks. She helped take care of me and nurture me and boy did it feel so good. It was NECESSARY to help create space for mama caregiving to my little one. She also provided nourishing meals for my husband and I, and I don't think we would've eaten without her support! Megan is truly a lovely, giving, naturally nurturing person. I'm so grateful to have been connected to her and have her support during the most important period of my life.”

“I hired Megan as my Doula for my second birth, her presence alone is calming. She is nurturing, and sincere by nature. It was her yogic background that drew me to her and I was ready to dive into breathwork so I could better be prepared for labor.  My partner, on the other hand, was hesitant about having a doula because our first birth went so well and he loved being hands on, a part of the whole process. Megan was reassuring and listened to how she could support, then when our Labor Day came she provided comfort measures like dimming the lights, essential oils, taking my blanket on and off, and most of all keeping my sounds deep and breath steady. She was doing all of this while my partner was hands on and connecting with me and our sweet jellybean.

We are thankful for Megan, her grounding energy and empowering mindset! I would highly recommend her as a doula on your support team for birth!”

Megan is AMAZING! I can't imagine my birth journey without her. She helped prepare my body for birth with gentle yet energizing yoga and gave my husband many techniques to help me during labor. Megan was a great energy to having in the birthing room. Her breathing cues and calming energy were so valuable. The nourishing and wholesome Ayurvedic foods  and massage postpartum were exactly what my body was craving. She even made me the most amazing lactation cookies! The postpartum yoga was just as great as the pregnancy yoga. Amazing spirit, mom, doula and friend.
