Mother Within proved a soul-nourishing, community connecting experience. It felt so good to gather in nature with women from all along the motherhood journey. The sacred circle and delicious food were definite highlights. I arrived knowing no one and left with new friends. 10/10 recommend!

Moja Yoga created a magical and welcoming space for deepening connection with myself and others at the Mother Within Retreat.

From a grounding and strengthening yoga practice led by Megan with a stunning view of the ocean, to nourishing and delicious meals and snacks prepared by Doula Shauna, to centering and calming acupuncture treatments offered by Dr. Faddis, this momma-to-be felt fully supported, encouraged, and empowered throughout the experience.

Megan adeptly offers a warm and nourishing container for the alchemy of ceremony in circle with others and self-reflection, and I highly recommend her retreats and other offerings for those open to the beauty and strength in community

Megan’s Mother Within retreat was exactly what I needed.

It was great to gather among women along their unique journeys and relax in a natural environment. From the warm welcome, to the opening circle and beyond; the acknowledgement and validation I received was priceless. I loved all the nourishing foods we had throughout the day and the little gifts/surprises towards the end. Truly a beautiful experience that I would love to do again.

    Thank you Megan!

This retreat/class was so special and sacred! It was full of intention, compassion and peace! Megan did an amazing job curating a full day for mothers to feel cared for and heard! We had an acupuncturist and a full day of yummy food and snacks! I am so happy i took part in this and cannot wait for more retreats like this!

Attending the Mother Within retreat while 30 weeks pregnant with my first child was just the pause And reset that my growing mind, body and soul needed.

Everything was a total dream. We were greeted with a scrmuptious chia seed pudding (by Doula Shauna) then began with an opening circle full of sharing and sisterhood ( and some awesome gifts, Thanks Tejido) during opening circle, we learned we are all in different stages of motherhood.

Circle was followed by a beautiful yoga practice with the most incredible view of Pebble Beaches coast line as we gazed forward in mountain pose and the most adorable gingerbread house come to life, for our viewing in downward dog.

Next we were amply nourished with more delectables from Doula Shauna. Honestly, the best I’ve eaten all pregnancy. Her blondie bars were seriously an orgasm for my tastebuds. 🤤

Throughout the day we had opportunities to connect with the other mamas and mamas to be - building what I hope are the foundations of lifelong friendships.

I’ve gone into my final portion of pregnancy feeling grounded but also rejuvenated. I now feel fully ready to welcome my baby girl earthside and share with her the magic that surrounds us. The magic being our community, specifically the other Moja Mamas.

Thank you Megan for cultivating this event. I’m eager to attend more of your events in the future and would recommend to all.
