Yoga, Reimagined

MOJA Yoga is a style I’ve developed over the past decade of teaching, learning, and unlearning—born from a desire to offer what I felt was missing in most modern yoga: permission to truly listen to your body.

This is not a rigid practice. It’s not one-size-fits-all. It’s a fluid, intuitive, and somatic modality—one that honors the ever-changing landscape of your body, your breath, and your life.

My classes are a moving meditation. Each one weaves breath with sensation, body with emotion, and movement with meaning

You’ll hear somatic invitations to slow down, feel more, and move in your own way. You’ll be offered shapes, not commands. Elemental rhythms often guide the practice—because what’s happening in nature often reflects what’s unfolding within.

Whether you’re pregnant, postpartum, in deep transition, or simply seeking space to reconnect with yourself, MOJA Yoga is a homecoming.

The pillars of Moja yoga

A somatic, elemental practice that invites you to return—again and again—to the wisdom within.

  • Two hand-drawn symbols enclosed in circles: the left symbol resembles a flame or leaf, the right symbol appears to be a stylized swirl or arrow.

    Breath as Sensation

We begin and return to breath—not to control it, but to feel it.

  • Simple line drawings of a human head on the left, showing a brain, and a pregnant woman on the right, each within separate circles.

    Movement as Medicine

No rigid alignment rules—only what supports your unique body.

  • Minimalist illustration with two circles; the left circle contains abstract lines resembling the shape of a leaf or plant, and the right circle contains a curved line similar to a swooping or spiral shape.

    Elemental Awareness

What’s happening in nature is often mirrored within. We listen to both.

  • Minimalist line art depicting two circles; the left circle contains a simplified human face profile with a swirling hairline, and the right circle contains a stylized fish.

    Somatic Invitations

I’ll guide you inward with gentle cues to explore, feel, and respond.

WAYS TO PRACTICE

  • Woman practicing yoga outdoors in a field with hills in the background during sunset.

    MOJA YOGA

My signature offering. A somatic, breath-led movement practice—rooted in the elements, nervous system attunement, and intuitive embodiment.

Currently held weekly at Esalen Institute in Big Sur, and offered seasonally through: REWILD: Outdoor Movement, Beach Yoga & Private 1:1

Each class is a ritual and an invitation to return to your body.

  • Group of women doing yoga in a brightly lit studio with large windows, yoga mats, blocks, and a large plant.

    PRENATAL YOGA

More than just movement—this is embodied birth prep and community care.

Classes support your changing body and nervous system while weaving in breath, pelvic awareness, and intuitive strength. As a doula and somatic sexologist, I bring a trauma-informed approach to support your whole self—body, heart, and womb.

  • Woman doing yoga with two children on her feet, lifting a child while lying on a yoga mat in a bright room with plants and a large mirror.

    POSTPARTUM YOGA

A gentle, grounding class to support healing, reconnection, and regulation in the postpartum season.

We blend breath-led movement, core and pelvic floor awareness, and somatic practices to help you feel whole again.

Mama + Baby classes are occasionally offered, creating space to move with your baby, connect with other mothers, and be held in community.

  • People practicing yoga outdoors on a sunny day in a grassy park with large trees, standing on yoga mats and holding tree pose.

    PRIVATE YOGA

Private MOJA Yoga is available in a variety of settings—1:1 sessions, small groups, corporate wellness, or special events.

Whether online or in person, these experiences blend somatic movement, breath, and body-based ritual tailored to your season of life. With hands-on support and full presence, I’ll guide you toward greater strength, flexibility, nervous system regulation, and embodied awareness.

Classes range from 10 to 60 minutes and include flow, strengthening yoga, prenatal, postpartum, breathwork, and nervous system support.
