MY PATH
I’ve always felt life deeply. As a young girl, my sensitivity wasn’t always understood. I followed a path of psychology in college and fell in love with human sexuality studies. I was accepted into the top master's program in Marriage & Family Therapy with a specialization in sex therapy. But at the same time, I was completing my yoga teacher training. Something in me knew I needed a different path — one that centered the body, not just the mind. I turned down the program and chose the path of embodied healing.
In 2015, I became a mother. Birth cracked me open. Though my first birth wasn’t traumatic, it awakened something profound. I realized how unprepared I was, and how much better it could have been with true support. That experience led me to doula work and Ayurvedic postpartum care, so I could walk alongside others navigating the portal of birth.
After my second child, my daughter, arrived in 2019, I expanded into community-based support: Mother Circles, women’s gatherings, ritual-based healing. These spaces became medicine for me and others. They reminded me we aren’t meant to mother alone.
In 2024, I deepened my journey through a year-long somatic sex education training, bridging my early passion for sexuality with the body-based approach I always craved. This work allows me to support women in reclaiming intimacy, sensuality, and self-trust in deeply embodied, non-clinical ways.
what guides me
Through every phase of motherhood and professional evolution, I’ve continued to follow what feels true — attuning to the seasons of my life, my children, and my community. I am a forever student, always integrating new wisdom into my offerings: yoga, herbalism, breathwork, birthwork, ritual, and somatic education.
where it began
At 17, I took a solo journey to Kenya that changed my life. I lived and worked at an orphanage for six months and founded a nonprofit that offered high school scholarships for local students. It was in Kenya that the word "Moja" — meaning "one" in Swahili — first planted a seed in my heart. One body. One community. One sacred life.
What MOJA Means
MOJA is a Swahili word meaning “one.”
It speaks to wholeness — the integration of body, mind, heart, and spirit.
The seed for MOJA was planted when I was just 17, living and working alone in Kenya.
There, I spent six months volunteering at an orphanage — a time that profoundly shaped my path. The word moja echoed through daily life, a gentle reminder of unity, resilience, and connection.
Years later, that word still lives in my bones.
It guides everything I offer — practices that help you return to yourself, reconnect with what matters, and rise from a place of deep embodied knowing.

ROOTED IN STUDY, GUIDED BY EXPERIENCE
I’ve gathered tools from around the world to support whole-person healing. Each step of my training journey has been rooted in curiosity, devotion, and a desire to help women return home to themselves.
My Philosophy
To me, somatics is the practice of listening to the living body from within.
I center sensation, breath, and intuitive movement as tools for remembering wholeness. My work isn’t about “fixing,” but about deepening. It’s about reclaiming rhythm, building trust, and returning to the body as home.
I believe in the healing power of ritual, the wisdom of the soma, and the deep intelligence of slowing down.
A Personal Note
I live between the forest and the sea with my husband and our three children.
Nature, the strength of mothers, and the power of presence inspire me endlessly.
MOJA isn’t just what I do — it’s how I live.
I’m honored to walk beside you.
